- The Hartwall Areena in Helsinki, where the European Championships Figureskating take place is a very special place to experience. It is one of Europe's most actively used entertainment venues with a non-stop calendar of concerts, operas, dance performances, major sporting events, world class ice hockey, figureskating, conferences and corporate events. The Eurovison Song Contest took place here in 2007 and it was the venue for the World Figure Skating Championships 1999. It has two Icerink for competition and training-purposes. For the public 13.646 seats are available. The longitudinal diameter of the ellipse-hall is 133 meter, the Cross diameter of the ellipse is 103 meter and the Height from the arena level to top of building is 32,5 meter. The Gross area in 6 floors is 33.950 m2.
