Budapest: Finland-1 World Synchro Champion

3 April 2008   -   The team of Finland-1 is the new World Synchronized Skating Champion. They became 2nd in the Short Program with a Total Segment Score of 72.55 points and 1st in the Free Skating with a Total Segment Score of 137.93 points. In the Overall results they scored 210.48 points. The 2nd place was for Team Sweden-1 with 205.71 points. They became 1st in the Short Program with a Total Segment Score of 74.72 points and 2nd in the Free Skating with a Total Segment Score of 130.99 points. The 3rd place was for Team Canada-1 with 198.81 points. They became 4th in the Short Program with a Total Segment Score of 70.67 and 4th in the Free Skating with a Total Segment Score of 128.14 points. The event, organized by the Hungarian Skating Federation, was held in the Papp Laszlo Sport Arena and was attended by 22 teams representing 17 countries.
